PVA water-soluble film Technical overview There are two main methods in producing PVA water-soluble films: l Water-soluble method: PVA is dissolved in water then poured onto a steel strip through a slot die, and then moisture is removed with an oven, forming a thin film. l Extrusion method: PVA is mixed with related formulas and then films are formed by an extrusion machine.
