Foaming Technology

Goal

Foaming technology uses physical foaming or chemical cross-linking foaming to enable plastic materials to foam and to achieve lightweight, cushioning, sound absorption, shock absorption, insulation, filtration, packaging and other functions.

The products not only have the special features mentioned above, but the foaming process also reduces the cost.

Foaming products are not only widely used in consumer goods (such as shoes, water sports equipment, cushions, etc.), but also building materials (such as air conditioning insulating tubes, floor, skirtboards, etc.) and industrial uses (such as packaging, insulation, shock absorption, filtration, etc.) .

Technical focus

PIDC has over 10 years of researching and developing experience in the field of foaming, the number of counseling or consulting for vendors is also impressive.

We also have good results both in traditional EVA foaming, shaped extrusion and plastic-wood composite production, and we have developed PCB powder and recycled PE/PP mixing and extrusion technology.

Recently we have also overcome technical barriers and developed a special foaming technology “EVA Open Cell Foaming Technology” (currently only the U.S. and Japan have this technology).

Breathable, water-absorbing and filtering features can bring EVA foaming manufacturers new business opportunities.
